The resident heartthrob! Shane is a hairstylist who always gives her customers what they are looking for. She is all about one night stands and doesn't want to be in a relationship.

A young writer of fiction, who moves to Los Angeles with her boyfriend soon to be finance. She finds herself attracted to Marina and  questions her own sexuality.

A beautiful entrepreneur who owns her own cafe in west Hollywood. Marina becomes interested in Jenny and acts apon her feelings leaving Jenny confused about her sexuality.

A professional tennis player, who is not yet out of the closet. Dana falls for Laura who works at the country club and is very open about her sexuality.

Bette lives with her partner Tina, which is next door to Jenny and Tim. Bette and Tina are trying to find a sperm donor  so they can start a family.

Tina, Bettes partner is hoping for a sperm donor so she can carry hers and Bettes child. Tina wishes that Bettes father would be acpting of the child they want to have as his grandchild.

Bette's half sister, also a musician and recovering alcoholic. Kit is trying to contact her son who she gave up for adoption in hopes that he would have the life she couldn't provide for him.

The boy of the show!Tim is a swim team coach, also Jennys boyfriend, soon to be finance. Tim and Jenny live next door to Tina and Bette which is how Jenny and Marina meet.

Laura is the su chef at the country club that Dana belongs to, after trying to figure out if Laura is gay or not Dana finally realizes it when Laura kisses her in the locker room.

Jenny finally gives into temptation and Marina and her make love. One of the best sex scenes I've seen in a long time.

Alice has created a chart to see how her and her friends all conect by who slept with who. After Alice's mother makes out with Shane she adds her own name to the list and Alice is not happy with her mother or her messing with her sex chart.
